All of the Excalibur Models include an Adjustable Thermostat (85o-145o) and a Heavy-Duty Fan. Excalibur dehydrators are made and assembled in the United States. All of the electrical controls are mounted on a steel plate at the rear and each tray receives its own air. No time-consuming rotation of the trays is needed and drying occurs up to 10X faster than with many stackable units. All trays are made of a durable polycarbonate and are virtually unbreakable and dishwasher safe. You can set the Excalibur anywhere on your kitchen counter-top because of its convenient lift-off door. Drips and spills can easily be cleaned up because all the electrical controls are located on the back wall and not on the bottom of the dehydrator. The square shapes of the trays are preferred among those who make jerky products.
